Synopsis:

Mudou Setsuna, is an average high school student except he harbors an incestuous love for his younger sister, Sara, and is the reincarnation of the the fallen angel Alexial, who rebelled against God. In Angel Sanctuary, Setsuna enters an intense struggle against his own supernatural powers, hordes of demons, and his feelings for Sara.

My Review:

A very angsty series which is reminiscent of Milton's Paradise Lost. Setsuna is a straightforward and compassionate leading role and he is surrounded by many interesting and clashing personalities. The artwork is good and the storyline is lengthy and twisted, but equally engrossing. An impressive feat for any lengthy series!

My Grade: A-
